Advocating for OUR Community

We are dedicated to engaging with the correct levels of government to address the ongoing issues of homelessness, break-ins, drug abuse, and neglect. Together, we can make a difference in our community.

Your involvement matters. Your voice counts. Let's work together to create a safer and more supportive environment for all.

If you feel unsafe or see a crime in progress, call 9-1-1 immediately or contact the local police.

Helpful Resources

Security Camera Registry

If you reside in Sault Ste. Marie jurisdiction and you have recorded residential (exterior facing) video cameras and would like to assist in solving crimes in your neighborhood, please consider the online security camera registration.

If a crime is committed and video is located in the area, the owner or lessee of the home may be contacted to allow investigators to view the images. Participation in these investigations is voluntary. You could help to solve a crime and help to make your neighborhood a safer place!

Online Police Report Filing

In an emergency, call 9-1-1. Online Reporting is NOT to be used in an emergency.

If the incident you would like to report is not listed in the category selection list, please contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service at 705-949-6300.
